Art Director
Our ideal candidate is highly creative, organized and methodical about the design process. This role will be responsible for co-conceptualizing, leading, and executing on all touchpoints of the brands visual identity. Working with the Head of Creative, you will be integral in translating design concepts and marketing needs into inspiring and effective visual campaigns, ensuring consistent brand expression across all customer facing materials such as: catalogs, brand decks, sales collateral, marketing campaigns, digital content and omnichannel experiences. ART DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Head of Creative and Design on the conceptual development and execution of seasonal design deliverables for Sales and Marketing to ensure it’s streamlined for all forward-facing elements. Including storytelling, campaigns, lookbooks, catalogs, emails, packaging, seasonal graphics, store signage, website content, promotions, brand decks, and digital assets.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clean, compelling, and visually exciting for the consumer.
- Research creative trends in competitive markets and apply the knowledge and learning to marketing projects
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to work cross functionally between design, sales and marketing departments.
- Oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Present work to business partners and senior management. Adjust and shape design decisions based on feedback.
- Manage creative team consisting of graphic designers, content creators and asset manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of art direction/design direction
- BA in graphic design and educational training in design & typography. Brand experience a plus
- Advanced skills and experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; understanding of After Effects and UX/UI a plus.
- A fundamental understanding of design and branding practices
- Exhibits a strong understanding of retail and fashion
- High attention to creative detail and quality control.
- Bring genuine, original creative ideas to the table.
