Description
As a Slowtide intern, you will gain incredible work experience working with a small yet mighty team of individuals. This role involves being on camera, so candidates must be comfortable creating UGC style videos. We're looking for individuals who are innovative, creative, and come prepared with fresh ideas. You should be able to work independently, and think outside the box. Originality is highly encouraged! What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Slowtide Marketing team in North America.
- Assist Social Media Manager with various marketing tasks, such as organic social media management, media outreach, influencer partnerships, and affiliate programs.
- Comfortable with creating UGC style videos for social channels
- Assist with general administrative tasks and other ad hoc projects as required.

- Communicator: You’re dynamic, articulate, and confident on camera, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You can clearly convey ideas and engage audiences, whether it’s through UGC videos or written content.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You can manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines. You stay on top of projects and can help the team stay organized too.
- Creative Strategist: You can assess creative concepts and content, ensuring they align with our brand's strategy and audience impact. You’re able to pitch fresh ideas and execute them seamlessly.
- Self-Starter: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable taking initiative. You can work independently, especially when creating content, and don’t need constant guidance to get things done.
- Analytical: You have a keen eye for metrics and insights, using data to improve content performance and optimize social strategies. Problem-solving comes naturally to you, helping drive better results for the team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creativity, strategic alignment, and consumer impact.
- Available 20 hours a week (ideally spread across three days).
- Passionate about gaining marketing experience in a small team environment.
- Self-starter who isn’t afraid to ask questions along the way.
- Analytical, organized, with significant attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
