Nearly ten years ago, we created the Changing Poncho out of necessity. After cold surf sessions, we needed something warm, durable, and easy to change in — and nothing out there fit the bill. What started as a personal fix quickly caught on. Today, it’s the most popular and most-reviewed poncho in the world.

But over time, we kept hearing the same question: Got anything warmer? Is there one that’s waterproof? What about something for really bad weather?

So we got to work.

The All-Weather Parka started taking shape on Vancouver Island, where one of our founders lives. The conditions there are harsh — cold, wet, unpredictable. Ideal for testing gear that needs to hold up when the weather turns.

We spent years dialing in the fit, fabric, and features. Then we handed it off to Canadian surf icon and Coast Guard member Raph Bruhwiler, along with longtime friend and pro surfer Josh Mulcoy, to see how it held up in the wild terrain of Tofino.

What came out of it is a parka built for real life outside:

  • Waterproof DWR-coated outer shell to keep wind and rain out

  • Oversized fit and extended length for easy changing (and car seat coverage)

  • Fleece-lined hand pockets to warm cold fingers fast

  • Secure inner pocket for your phone, keys, and essentials

  • Oversized hood with drawcords for full storm protection

  • Two-way zipper for flexibility on the move or when layered up

This parka was made for those in between moments — after the session, before the warmth sets in. When your gear’s soaked, the wind kicks up, and you’re not done being outside just yet.
