What makes your towels better than others?

Slowtide uses premium, sustainably sourced materials, and best-in-class, ethical factories, applying these sustainable materials and practices to all aspects of the business. We go the extra mile to create premium products that last. All of our printed towels use reactive dye (instead of ink) that dyes the fibers of the yarns, preventing premature fading. All Slowtide towels also have a hanging loop feature for optimum drying. 

What makes your products sustainable? 

All of our cotton products are made with materials sourced through the Cotton LEADS Program, assuring sustainably sourced cotton and a reliable supply chain. Slowtide polyester products (Travel Towels, Yoga Towels, Fleece Blankets) are made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, primarily plastic bottles, transforming it into premium polyester fibers. Polyester products are also certified through the Global Recycled Standard, which applies to the full supply chain, addressing traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, and labeling. All Slowtide products exceed the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification, ensuring that they are safely produced and do not contain any allergic substances. Where are your towels made?

Most Slowtide products are produced in China in a state of the art factory that is a leader in global sustainability. We also produce some products in the USA, including our Woven Tapestry Blankets. The Slowtide team has traveled the globe in search of the best factories that are both ethically compliant and produce the highest quality towels at a reasonable price. 

What are the washing instructions for the products?

For best results, we recommend washing all of our products with mild liquid detergent in cold water with like colors and tumble dry low.

S/M Sizing: We recommend this size for juniors and persons under 5’7

L/XL Sizing: We recommend this size for persons over 5’7

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship everywhere in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. We also ship to Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Please make sure you select your appropriate region in our site options. For shipping to Australia & Japan, please select the USA region and we will offer a $30 USD flat rate for all orders. 

How do I return/exchange?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days. Returns will be refunded in the original method of payment. You must postmark your items for return within 30 days of delivery receipt to be eligible for a refund.

Please note we do not accept returns for items on sale and gift cards. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Once your package has been received and inspected, we will refund the original payment method within 15 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your return has been processed (please allow up to 48 hours for the refund to show up in your account)

Do you ever restock sold-out styles?

We occasionally restock our most popular styles that sell out quickly. On sold out items, we have a “notify me when available” button that you can use to sign up for email and/or text notifications. We send out notifications as soon as the product is back in stock.
