On the North Shore of Oahu, Giulia and Ashton have built a home between mountain and sea. Green peaks rise behind them while the ocean moves just across the street. Most days begin outside and end back home again, drifting easily between saltwater, family time, and the quiet rhythm of the North Shore.

Inside, their space feels layered and lived in. Art from friends lines the walls. Objects gathered over the years sit beside photographs and surf history. Nothing feels overly placed — everything holds a story. The house reflects the things they value most: creativity, culture, music, and time together.

That same energy carries into the work they’re building just down the road. Together they recently opened the Center of Radical Education inside the Hawaiian Surfing Museum at the historic Wailua Sugar Mill: a gathering space dedicated to preserving surfboard design, surf magazines, film, and the culture surrounding them.
