Meet Alexandra from 67 Jewelry, a handmade and vintage jewelry brand in Southern California.
When did you start your brand?

I started 67jewelry during covid. I always planned on starting a jewelry company but I thought it was only going to be 20 years from now. 67 naturally just fell into place. I started off selling vintage Jewelry and having mini collections come out every couple of months. I then released my first original collection which ended up taking off and 67 as a company was formed.

What or who inspired you to start creating?

My parents have always encouraged me to pursue the arts. I attended OCSA, an arts high school, and later continued my education at an art college. Growing up, I was fortunate to be surrounded by talented people, which inspired me to fully immerse myself in whatever craft I was focusing on at the time, and constantly being inspired by my peers.

What or who are you currently inspired by?

I love collecting used books, and I often find inspiration in punk, Victorian, and African tribal jewelry. In my designs, I’m constantly striving to blend the essence of all three styles into something unique.

Any advice for aspiring creatives or entrepreneurs?

Take the first step and share your work with the world, whether online or in person. It doesn't have to be perfect—art is a constant evolution, and as artists, we're always growing.

What is your dream trip where you feel you can gather the most creative inspiration from?

I would love to visit Spain or Japan!
