For our very first custom product feature, we’re excited to spotlight Asher Golf, a brand that has been redefining golf accessories since 2009.
We sat down with the team at Asher Golf to learn more about their journey, their collaboration with Slowtide, and what inspires them to break from tradition in the golf world.
Can you tell us a bit about who you are and what Asher Golf stands for?
ASHER was born in 2009 with a desire to provide the golf world something it lacked; high-quality golf gloves with a little added flavor and style. Designed to help you look good, feel good and play better. We saw how all golf gloves were boring and white and wanted to change that through innovative designs that showed your personality is a head to hand experience.
What made you want to collaborate with Slowtide on this project?
We've been fans of Slowtide for a while. You guys are experts at what you do. We love your content and message relating to the outdoors. We figured our brands vibed on ethos.
Was there a specific moment or idea that sparked the design direction for the towel?
We always start with a color palette that has its roots in nature. We wanted to go bold and looking at the Slowtide archives, there was only 1 direction we could take the towel.
What was important to you when bringing this piece to life?
With every piece that we release, it is critical that we bring something unique to the game of golf. Everyone has a golf towel, but how many people have a towel that matches their glove and is ultra premium?
What’s next for Asher? Anything you’re excited about on the horizon?
Gloves, Gloves and more Gloves! We are really digging into our roots and making sure the glove is the center of attention. We want every golfer to experience the elevated fit and feel of an ASHER Glove. More collabs, more limited edition, and more opportunities to break from tradition.
